For my school website. Leaving a legacy fr?! Learning backend stuff with integration.
Microsoft Authentication + Firestore DB
I’m currently working on my school website, which I decided to completely recreate and make it run for free indefinitely instead of just carrying on maintenance from the previous year because I had the know how and talent I guess to do so.
But I can’t be asked to deal with frontend. Designed something up in figma, sent it over to claude and let it cook. It actually did a decent job although touch ups were required. (But if you’re new to frontend do NOT do this - learn it first)
I’m mostly learning about the dev environment here, and if I really would enjoy the vibe and stuff. Also learning how to use git branches and collaborate with other devs, so this is pretty cool and a really new experience for me for the first time in like 10 years.

This is very maintainer design oriented, and I feel like this is the closest I’ve been to real production environments.
