After a million mistakes and running against the clock, it’s finally finished! As you can see in the pictures, it runs on a battery, so it can be used completely unplugged.

Soldering the buttons was a real challenge because my hands are ridiculously shaky. I made about a thousand mistakes along the way, I actually spent an hour trying to debug what I thought was a code error, only to realize I hadn’t soldered a wire properly and it had popped right off

Anyway, I’m really happy with this project, and in the future, I’d love to add new features and polish it even further. I know the presentation isn’t the cleanest. My original plan was to solder everything onto a PCB, but I didn’t have time to go buy one, so I had to make do with the breadboard. Since it’s hidden out of sight anyway, no big deal!

If you saw my previous devblog, you might remember I made a 3D design for the case. I haven’t used it here because I recently transferred schools. At my old school, they let me use the 3D printers with no issues, but at the new one, they don’t. The teacher told me a week ago that he’d print it for me and I’m still waiting XDDD!
