Touch friendly cool carousel

I added the carousel into the design. The reference was taken from a code pen snippet i found (finders keepers)

Im also trying out some new fonts and z indexing for a better text hierarchy, but sadly it looks like our design is about to be rejected. 😢😢😢 even though, we will still be using many things (like the carousel) in the new design so i will keep adding on top of this!

Yummy hero section

I made the svg from the figma design be responsive and look cool.

The color scheming and design philosophy was developed from last years hackathon. the feedback we were provided greatly helped us understand the wrong design choices we took and make them better. Since our hackathon is tailored for high school students, and were high school students ourselves we wanted to make the website feel more cozy, comfortable and inviting. Looking at the design, we may look like a ice cream company (for now) we plan to increment and improve the design for more technological assets too. The soft bezier animations rounded corners, inverted corners are all taken into account for as we plan to exploit the “Bouba Kiki effect”. Usually its a more of a phoenetic theory, if we think about it it can be applied to design. To sell the idea of a cozy hackathon we must show it by our design making it look cozy comfortable and welcoming.
