My first slack bot!

The Slack bot is now up and running on Slack through Nest. One of the biggest challenges for this phase was just navigating and understanding how an SSH works. Since the last update it gained an actual leaderboard (aligned table, usernames, claude counts), a logo of the Claude asterisk wearing a slightly crooked halo, and I lost twenty minutes to Slack’s manifest editor over how to display usernames instead of user id’s.

I am currently building claude-counter, a Slack bot that tallies every time someone says “claude” and replies with their running count, because it has become an extremely common word in another Slack channel I’m part of and I thought it would be funny. It announces milestones like they’re religious events and keeps a leaderboard called the Vibe Coding Hall of Slop, plus /claude-counter-me for checking your rank and /claude-counter-sermon if you’re in need of a vibe coding proverb (written by claude, cause it’s funnier that way).

Currently, I have the code written out, but am still not through the process of testing and deploying to nest.
