What I made: An ocean-themed dev portfolio with a full underwater Three.js scene, a “Daily Chomp” newspaper that pulls in my YouTube/GitHub/Itch.io content, and Discord webhook support.
What was challenging: Getting the fish, kelp, bubbles, light rays, and caustics all working together in Three.js without murdering performance.
What I’m proud of: The cohesive ocean aesthetic — wavy dividers, glass cards, newspaper with “printed with ocean ink” — and The Daily Chomp news section turning into something actually fun.
How to test: It’s live on Vercel, just visit the URL. Loading the cards and news takes a bit since they fetch live from Itch.io, YouTube, and GitHub — fallback data fills in if feeds fail.
