Finally finished (I guess). I redesigned the case because I made some silly errors. In reality, my pcb sat lower than my CAD model so I fixed that. CAD model also used surface mounted SEEED XIAO RP2040 so there was a height change. Moved the port down twice. No longer silly circles on the lid because I made the top part way to thin in the first place. My knob was too tall so I sanded it down (I just wanted to get this project done 🫠)

Got my parts. Quick fit and sanity check. Did I make my top plate to thin? I will look at the Orphues pad real quick. Please tell me if you get any info about normal heights or something.
Added little bump at the top so a heatset insert can fit because the top shell is not thick enough. Added Gerber files.
Added all 3d models to Kicad, and exported it into Fusion. (idk why gif is so cooked). Flipped the microcontroller so the usb port wasn’t inside the plate. Moved usb outlet on base to match the new location. Comment what I should do to let the led’s to shine through

Sorted Github files and realised my LED’s were the wrong way lol
Built the case. Added a bunch of fillets and a chamfer to edges. Hole at the back for the USB port. About to code it and make the Github Repo. (This will probbaly take me ages because the tutorial doesn’t show how to program it)
Building the case. Tutorial kinda sucks though so I am referencing qcoral’s “Orpheuspad” fusion model.
Looked at qcorals 3d model to look at the pcb. Started connecting components together.
Placing keys in the arrow key layout. about to wire them up. Also trying to add rgb lighting
