A compact, open-source bipedal robot designed from the ground up for balance, waddling, and future AI integration. Hello stardance children :)

I did a lot today! Got to figure things out for the hips and basic legs of Pebble. I gotta admit, it looks super cool. BUT, the challenge is, whether it will actually be sturdy or just crack as soon as I move the motors :( Speaking of which, I do still have to figure out the motor driver and learn how to balance this boy. Anyways, thanks for reading :)

Wsg gang ! Today, I worked on a basic sketch of pebble, kind of seeing how it would work. Also, some components came in today, so I’m gonna try to figure it out. Pretty proud of this mockup, so I hope to follow it closely :) If anyone has ideas on what to do with the head/face, lmk! I need ideas cuz I don’t want to directly copy NVIDIA’s Blue…

Today, I came up with a BOM and started putting together a parts list! I also realized I never updated my description… oops! Changed the project around just now to what the project actually is.

I also started a basic sketch of what I want pebble to look like, inspired by NVIDIA’s Blue at GTC 2025. I hope to order things tonight, and hopefully they arrive soon!
