I'm making a battery saver. It was originally designed for my flight to Egypt but i said to myself why shouldn't anybody have access to this so i made the airplane-mode thats how i called it it runs in linux the best is mint because i was testing it on mint but any debian is good. I hope that this project will help you as it helped me.

I wanted to maximize the battery life on my 2011 MacBook Pro so thats why i made this little lightweight script. This was made for a flight to Egypt but i wanted to publish this here. So this is a preview of the code the rest is on github there are 2 parts turn on and turn off.
