Projects page!

Hii!
Today I worked only on doing the Projects page and it was quite easy since I took most of the code from the Gallery and adapted it.

In the next days I will polish everything and start working on finishing the home page.

Gallery!

Hii everyone!!
Today I spent quite some time on the Gallery.
It’s just a page where I put some pictures that I took in the last years, nothing crazy, but I spent A LOT of time between the styling and finding way to load all the photos without having the page lagging. And while it’s easy, I tried at first the hardest method… which didn’t work that much, and only after that I found how to do it properly, so yeah…

Also, I tweaked some properties for smaller screens and changed the background, I think I like this one more.

Let me know if you have any suggestions!! I always read the comments :)

Devlog #4

More styling..

Hii guys!
Sooo today I didn’t work that much, but I changed some of the CSS and now this is how the page looks like. If anyone has suggestions, feel free to comment!

Also, I have a question, does anyone know why the website seems to lag during the scrolling on Edge, while it works completely fine on Chrome and Firefox?

This is it for today, tomorrow I’ll definitely start working on the gallery, I gathered some ideas today.

Styling

Sooo hi again!

In this hour here is what I did:

• Added Background
• Added Colors
• Added Images & GIFs
• Added Dividers

To be honest it was quite easy to make the layout. The hardest part was searching online for the graphics!!
There are so many resources out there, but I felt like only a few of them deserved to be used on this website. I guess I spent 1 or 2 hours going around hundreds of sites to get all the elements needed (and I don’t think I’m done).

I don’t really have a plan for tomorrow, but I’ll probably create the projects section. Also, I was thinking of making a gallery too, to share some of the pictures I took that I like the most

Barebones

Hi everyone!!
I’ve started working on the overall layout.
I think it’s coming together, slowly, but it’s already something.

I added all my interests and wrote kind of a long paragraph for the about me section, so I hid by default, this way the page doesn’t feel too crowdy.
I will now work more on the styling. Find some cool elements to add, a palette, and a background.

New beginning 🌐

Hii everyone!
So, I finally decided to spend my domain grant, and I bought the nokira.dev.
Now I am reworking the entire website to a whole different style. Hopefully I will come up with something permanent and beautiful.

I will work a bit slowly compared to usual, but something will come… :)

Devlog 7

Hello!!
Today I finished the “pro” side of the website! I added a smooth scroll script which I found online, made toggle to decide which 3D model to see and created a little timeline with all my important achievements.

On the other side of the website I just added a little space that shows my main hobbies (Sports car racing, programming and experimenting with hardware).

I think I am ready to ship the project.

Hii!!
It’s been some days since I last worked on this project, but I decided to focus on some of the other ones. But today I wanted to see what I could do, and… I decided to make a new layout, even though I love the current one, so instead of just wiping it, I created another section to the website which you can visit with this link. The new layout feels to me a bit more professional and less playful compared to the other one.

And because I wanted to feel both at the same time, I just created a dedicated section for the new one. This, will be the “professional” (if you can call it like that) side of me. I will only put the finished and polished projects and keep the layout less colorful and distracting.

As you can see from the screenshot to the right I put a 3D model using this guide. Ignore the fact that it’s my Roblox character, I will put some other model once I get a better idea XD.

Devlog 5

Nothing much to say to be honest. I just spend 1 hours refining some minor details and thanks to all the feedback I got, I optimized the background and the previews. Thank you guys for all the positive reviews btw ❤️ :)

Now the videos play only when hovering with the moue on a thumbnail. And also there was a weird behavior when many project were added for testing, so I fixed that issue too and now project display all in the correct way.

I am thinking of a redesign…

Created another section! I listed the technologies I know and I’m familiar with, in a dedicated section. I also updated the icon style in the contact section :)

Just a quick edit! Added my new project “KittenOS” to the section, added GitHub profile in the contact section and changed the background to a Gif!

Just finished the About section!!! Currently refining the Project section. It’s been quite some time but I’m taking it very slowly trying to make it perfect to my eye :)

Took me quite some time but i managed to create this layout! I know it doesn’t really look that great but I’m happy I achieved this! Working on the first section now :)
