Alimentae would be the site for my IB CAS project. My friends and I created Alimentae as a youth-led project in Lima. Our aim is simple: to redistribute food that would otherwise be wasted, and deliver it to families in need.
Hello there! So, I was thinking, what if I add something else to Alimentae’s site. I mean, there are 3 colours, blue for the index, white for the somos.html, but what about yellow? Inspired by that idea and my belief that I can make Alimentae much better, I decided to create the accion.html file. See you!

Hello there! In the last devlog, I commented that I managed to get on with the Somos page, yet when I was in the Index page, I found it “odd” that by clicking on “somos” it took you directly to the new html when there’s also a description in the index page as well. Soooo, I decided to make some changes. Now, clicking on “Somos” redirects you to the section in the index page, and in that same section, you’lll find a “Read more” that takes you to the somos.html file. Check it out!
Hello there! So, I’ve been working on the Somos site. As you can see, I managed to link it with the Index site, I added some buttons in the nav bar to redirect to each part of the Somos page: Inicio goes back to the index, Historia goes to the nuestra historia section, Sé parte del cambio redirects back to the Index html to the section of calling to action. Hope you like it!
Hello there! I’ve been working on the “Somos” site and I managed to set up the main structure. So, my biggest accomplishments on this time working were my finished header (logo + nav bar) plus the introductory “hero section” with the main message and action buttons. I also built a sidebar card in order to summarize Alimentae’s current activities. Moreover, I was able to work on the CSS general variables for colors and typography for the following sections. Now, I’m looking foward to making a section more connected to the team behind Alimentae.
Right now I’m working on a new separate HTML file for the section “Somos” of my website. This new page will allow for a more in depth presentation of Alimentae’s identity, including our mission, vision, values, and story, without overcrowding the index page.
