I finished building everything. It doesn’t work as well as I hoped it would, but at least it will hopefully get me super hardware builder status. I still need to find a heavier weight that fits in the width constraint (the current one is actually pretty light), optimize the geometry a bit more (make the string shorter and the end stick longer), and make a better pouch.

finished the CAD. I’ll set stuff to 3d print and assemble it soon. Currently, I’m using a 3d printed shaft because I don’t have enough time to buy shafts, so that will be cooked.
