Day 2 - Main Menu Progress
Today I focused on creating the game’s main menu and giving it a cyberpunk atmosphere. I TRIED MY BEST IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF ADVICE PLEASE I’M JUST A BEGINNER. HELP ME
✨ What I worked on today:
Added the cyberpunk city background.
Designed the game’s title: BLACK NOVA.
Created the Start Game button.
Experimented with neon text, glow effects, and UI colors.
Spent time improving the overall look to make it feel more polished and futuristic.
I’m still tweaking the UI because I want the first screen players see to leave a strong impression. Small details like fonts, lighting, and button styling make a huge difference.
Tomorrow’s goal:
Finish the complete main menu.
Add Settings and Exit buttons.
Add hover animations and menu sound effects.
Make the menu feel more alive.
Every day I’m learning something new in Unity, and it’s exciting to see the project slowly come together. 🚀
Today I set up the development environment for Black Nova. I installed Unity, connected Visual Studio Code, configured GitHub for version control, and integrated Hackatime to track my development progress.
