Made this demo video and fixed video mode as it didn’t worked before so yeah it works now also uploaded to PyPi to install it using pip install singularity-twinx. Do check out that also this is i think last devlogs as i am gonna ship this project.

Devlogs after many days i think 4 cause there was a personal reason but made the following things:

• fixed the audio bug it played audio still after pausing the video
• made this logo used in favicon
• it now has 3 layout for search view , the img is of full view mode

So this is going too far beyond my initial plan , i planned to keep it like simple but adding more features and more features which are really useful like:

• terminal search
• play song without any video probably for those who get distracted i do kept the music+video but also this
• a separate video player probably for those who want to see just one video , distraction free
• added api integration so local agents just curl so you can get some video searching using my api also you can use it in some apps no need to create one
• added background api running so no one terminal reserved for one api just run it and close the terminal , easy!

Coming to the point here what i have added :

• improvements in UI by adding blur or say glass effects
• added more settings options like user can delete data was from starting but this time added the folder path so user get extra privacy type features.
• fixed some bugs but wasn’t able to fix webview not able to play videos using source so thinking what can i do.
• fixed auto tag extractor to exclude common things like : “youtube-video” , “music” , “shorts” , “trending” .etc

major improvement on ui but time was not fully recorded as i tried to code in neovim instead of Zed😭

Okay so new features plan:

• maybe switch between modern and this ui design
• making youtube less blocking by telling user to open just a youtube tab , that works because youtube gets cookies some times making it think like some user is sending request
  OR
• a cookies based system that auto generates a fake cookies.

Made many things in this ~1hr as i already had those projects like Wave and flow from which i copied the API and UI so i will work on ui next and also music mode as it is important and new feature.
Btw i already added suggestion or auto-play from flow.

As per the plan web version is completed but sadly not all songs are present only songs which are on saavan

News : I know that i told i would make a full browser based app but due to youtube being too much restricted to server IP i needed to use proxy and residential IP a bit costly for me but i have a good news — >

I have figured out how to play music so it is just music in web and full features available on desktop app.
