I Did SO MUCH EXPERIMENTING

Ok, I did so much testing and trying out new things, and now I think I am a comfortable place where I have at least most of the homepage done, so I’m gonna ship this.

🔔What’s New?

• New “Find Me” section
• The Profile Spinner on Hover is Back!!!
• This isn’t really new but I kinda uh gave up on the status dot and decided it wasn’t important. (I will use a cool widget later in the future hopefully!
• The formatting and footer is done. It took so much time to perfect the formatting but it’s finally finished.

I Fixed Everything!

Bug Fixes

I fixed a ton of things in this update!

• Navbar is now smaller and organized
• My profile section is now clean and organized instead of looking like a clunky dirt pile.
• 88x31 Buttons now have slightly rounded corners and they get bigger when you hover.
• I rebranded the website to my online alias - Chroma.

Next Up

These features should come in the next update assuming nothing goes terribly wrong…

• 404 Page
• More Sections in Homepage
• Hopefully status stuff like what I listened to or played last.

Cool Things

The header and footer are their own HTML file! If I update them they update on all pages! (Or at least they will when I add more pages lol.

Things That Broke

A bunch of things broke for no reason - I fixed one thing and it caused another problem.

• The Navbar is Messed Up - This is honestly just to prepare for the new navbar that I hope to implement in the next update. It’s going to be smaller, and it might even work on mobile :0
• The Navbar doesn’t stay pinned to the top.
• My Profile Card is like way to chunky
• The footer overlaps other elements when you scroll to the bottom.

Welcome to Version 2 of my project

Info on AI Use

I got some feedback saying that I was using AI last time. I never use AI to make Devlogs or Readme’s.

What’s New

I added a lot of cool custom features like a custom scrollbar and highlight effect. I also added a cool looking fade effect around the edges of all boxes. I also changed up the color scheme from green to blue, with a transparent effect to show the cool hacker style in the back! I think people will like this style better from the old one.

What’s To Come

I plan on adding tons of new features to my website, including a lot more interactivity like maybe a guestbook or smthn. I also plan to add some more features that allow me to make things easier to edit - see below

Cool Things

I also found out how to use JS to fetch code for a navbar and footer so I only need to edit it in one place and the others do it automatically
