This game was a game I made for a game jam a few weeks ago, with minor balancing changes (that actually hopefully make the game faster this time). I may update it in the future, but for now, it's a finished game. See the dev log for specific features, and game description for an overview of the game.

This game is pretty much finished. Here’s what’s in it. (I finished the game before registering for stardance, so that’s why there’s no hours in this project. This is also partially me testing out how a project would work in this place)

Collect Seashells! Buy seashell upgrades to manipulate the waters to allow you to collect more seashells!
Collect sea urchins? This game was made in a game jam, and the limitation was “The Instructions are a Lie”. The implementation in the game for this limitation is that you can collect sea urchins instead of seashells, where the initial introduction text tells you NOT to collect sea urchins. Keep in mind sea urchins allow shell count to go negative, which may cause a soft-softlock if you go too deep into sea urchins without buying any shell upgrades beforehand.
Collecting enough sea urchins, while it locks the seashell ending, it unlocks the sea urchins upgrade shop and a new secret ending.
Upgrades:
- Increase max shells, or max urchins that can be found on the beach, where the amount of those resources that can be found is from max-2 to max
- Decrease wave length, which makes the waves occur faster and its animaiton done faster.
- Duplication of shells/urchins.. chance for you to get 2 shells/urchins instead of one.
- Win condition, one is bought with shells, the other is bought with urchins.
