ahhh… its been a while, eh?
so, while portfolios was being approved for the webos 1 mission, i began to work on some stuff:
first, 2 games: minesweeper and conway’s game of life! these two took 6 of the 7 (no dont do it bro) hours im logging with this devlog.
the hardest of these to make was game of life (god i hate typescript), and my favourite is minesweeper because i managed to make a pretty good ui.
i added a settings window with a background setting too, where the other available backgrounds are the photos of my cats :3
and, for the terminal, i added a fetch command! it displays a cat ascii art and some info about the user’s os.
oh, i almost forgot, i bought a domain! now this website (and my next ones) are gonna be in the 0xf1.dev domain.
i know this is a pretty short devlog before the ship, but i really dont have much to say, i spent most of my time working on my other project, aglang
Ok! The project is ready: overall from the last update i fixed the design, made the maximize button work (finally) and made a terminal feature when the system shuts off! idk why but it’s really satisfying just seeing it all fit together.
I improved the design a little bit, but i think im going crazy trying to make the windows scale properly: this is why i both love and hate frontend development.
The basics are done! I’ll add a couple features later just to make it different…
