Project Orion Animatronic Devlog #2

Hello guys, I have spent a few more hours on my project orion animatronic.

First I modelled the engine/shock absorber part of the build.

The shock absorber moves up and down through a lead screw and Nema 17 stepper motor. The stock absorber has 2 stages. The first one uses springs that are meant to compress and the second, slides up and down through tubes.

I also added a plate so the marble chamber stays still. Aswell it holds the command pod, which is heavily inspired by kerbal space program (I also made my own custom parachute, im not sure if i should add functionality to it).

In total so far, this built is 0.8 meters tall (80cm/800mm) and about 20 cm wide
