STEM Racing car in Fusion360
STEM Racing car in Fusion360
i’ve been working on a idea of a rolling resistance rig too extract data from mmy wheels, im sorry i dont know what to write, ill promise i will do a good devlog some day
Same as alwways, right now im doing a deed research on the coanda effect and how it owrks, its really amusing and its helping me for some of the desing ideas I have.
well I have been pretty much just improving everything and yeah, i’ve spoken to one of my mentors and he has just told me many things i could improve, he has also explained many important parts I should take in consideration, and yeahhhh
I was watching the 24h of SPA while working JAJJAAJ, which made it all a bit better, ive been pretty much just breaking my head trying to figure out hot to work with Open FOAM, its even worse than what I thought, like its just nasty, and it dosent work, like I CAN’T place my airflow simulation. I will text a guy from germany that I know he knows how t work with this program, and yeah, cheers!
Well now i have been installing open FOAM, this is a pain, but yeah, i have to stop my time and all because i have to restart my computer, but yeah, if you have the oportunity to work with OpenFOAM, then don’t, its way to hard to install, (not really but it could be easier)
Right now I am trying to install OpenFOAM in my computer in order for me to do correct CFD Analisis wjich will help me get numerical data extracted, so yeah, I am also doing some rear wing designs, and im pretty much just looking for the perfect NACA Airfoil that matches all my requirements, im also looking at an open source by evolut1on, in which im getting some data and relevant facts that will be helping me
I don’t really know how people write so damn much on the devlogs, lowkey I have just been doing the same and modifiyng litle aspects that didn’t feel quite right, I always try to support each of my decisions and justify them correctly, not just doing things because I want to, and I think its a fundamental part of my project. I don’t really know what to add on the pictures, I would love to drop all my work, but I am still competing and I woudn’t really want my competition seeing all, though I don’t think anyone from spain here is participating, if you guys got a question or something, feel free to ask, im more than happy to help or solve doubts, cheers.
Now ive been pretty much been just working on the same, ive added some new concepts and have been doing my research to have all my actions supported by engineering acctual data and just nonesense
So now pretty much what i have done has been investigation and adding all those concepts in my car
Hiiiiii, so, in the last post I didn’t really explain, im isa from Cybernova, a team participating in STEM Racing spain, and im the engineer, my work mainly consists in developing a car by CAD using Fusion 360, and yeahhhh, right now im pretty much just wondering arround with some models taking in consideration things I have learned, im also simultaneously filling a suplementary document for my final porfolios and all, im also doing sketches and speaking with my mentor to improve some aspects. This is the car I did the other day, the project consists in doing a mini f1 car and racing it on a 20m car, they are super fast
