This is my very own OS that can be run in the web!
It’s been a while since I last posted a devlog, but in that time I’ve managed to complete my WebOS! It now has three draggable windows that can be opened and closed.
I don’t believe that there are any bugs that need fixing; however, I’ll check through it one last time and prepare to ship now.
Today I added the code for my first app (Gallery app) and made it draggable and so that you can open/close it. I’ll probably finish up any remaining bugs associated with this app before adding some actual content.
Right now there’s a bunch of filler content in both my apps, so I’ll make sure to clean that up and replace it with ‘proper’ content for my apps. After that I’ll work on more apps and get ready to ship!
Today I did some stuff in Javascript to get the window to open/close and I added some extra features. I had to ask gemini to help me fix a bug that was costing me 30 minutes of my life lol
Last time I said I’d start customizing the OS more, but I think I’ll leave that for near the end. I’ll probably focus on adding apps first before I touch up on how the project actually looks.
Today I worked on setting up the main frame and adding some stuff about myself; I also styled the OS and got it to show the date and time.
I’ll work on customizing the site now and adding even more features!
