Building a basic robot that can drive with a lift for putting parts in places. Using VEX parts because thats the only type of hardware I have but this is not a competition robot. Not sure why the images are getting cut??
Finally completed drivetrain and constructed lift. Just need to finish adding pulleys then will start working on the intake.
Coded basic 4 omni wheel drive train with 4 11w motors and imu
I have to rebuild the drivetrain because it was too long and wide. this is the difference. After fixing things up I am halfway done and I am saving 1 inch in vertical and 2 inches in horizontal space.
Began building intake so that it can be geared up and used pieces of polycarb for ramp
Found parts for my cascade lift and fixed the drive train spacing.
Added intake roller and fixed/tested drivetrain
Almost finished the drivetrain just need to add a few more standoffs then code!
Removed old connections because they didn’t work and added new ones (really hard to add the new ones that’s why it took so long)
Attached both sides of the drivetrain. Added more connections to make it more stable. Next Steps: continue making it more secure and stable then start coding.
Added gears and wheels to the drive train. Next step is to connect both pieces, add bracing, and code!
Tested all driving motors. Attached motors and completed frame of the drive base.
Began the assembly and sorted all parts!
