Devlog #2 - July 14

I made significant aesthetic changes to my website, as I mentioned in my Devlog #1, and created a header with the name of the OS and live time.

The changes more in detail:

  1. I changed the background from an aqua color to an image of the Cosmic Cliffs by NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), for the website to look more natural and fits the theme well.
  2. I added a translucent background for the entire body of text so it transitions perfectly with the background image.
  3. I centered all the text so it fits in the middle of the browser.
  4. I changed the background colors of the title and subheadings to fit a NASA theme of red and blue, and changed it from perfectly opaque to more translucent for a modern feel.
  5. I made the names of the crew bigger and bolder.
  6. Most importantly, I used JavaScript to add a live clock on the top-right, along with the date, and the name of the OS on the top-left, which I currently call “Sushanth OS.”

P.S. There is more to the website than I could include in the screenshot, so feel free to view the entire website.

I am building a website on the information about NASA’s Artemis II project, I finished the foundational website, and I will continue adding more parts to it, and making it more interactive and intricate.

Next, I’m planning on making the website prettier, with more colors and more information.
