building a fully custom rc plane
trying to figure out how to add my own structural support to the wings of my plane in order to reduce print weight (250g for 1/5 of wing seems a little excessive…). also finalized the connectors for the main ailerons. i LOVE dealing with onshape’s feature tree!
building out the control surfaces and designing connectors so that i can 3d print this!…. doing some research on the right ratio between wing area and control surface area and trying to nail tolerances first try (top ten things that will never happen)
back at it fr
-redid measurements of the wings and scaled accordingly based on my scientific image i found on google search
-made slots for tire tubes i’m going to use to connect the back vertical stabilizer to vertical aileron (is that what you call it idk)
-learned how to use onshape assemblies (coming soon 🤫)
