Able to act as a "smart home control" device to control some of my other projects in the future, as well as some other features in the watch itself
FINALLY FINISHED MY FIRST PROTOTYPE
Features:
Completed and responsive UI according to button inputs
Updates time - updates according to the timezone you’re in. It connects to my phones hotspot everytime it starts to access the local ntp server to update its internal clock
Send commands - it acts as a host devices and is able to send commands to other client esp32 through ESP-NOW to trigger functions. So that this watch can be used to control other devices remotely. Client esp32 currently only toggles an LED on/off, but in the future I’m thinking of making one of them toggle my room’s light on/off remotely, boil hot water for me remotely, etc, there are a lot of possibilities and room to play with.
Used Lopaka to create the home page UI for my watch and successfully uploaded it to esp32 for display
