[Devlog #3]There are a lot of other bots who can give weather data, so why would you care about Birdie, Thats what you are thinking right? RIGHT???
Well…, well…, well…, Who knows the weather better than a DAMN BIRD?……(A weather API obv!)

[If you think my pfp or Birdie is cute then help me get the Macbook air M5 or else……. the birdie will always be watching you]

Here’s how it works:
/birdie-weathertoday shows weather for the day in a city specified by the user. Open-Meteo weather and Geocoding APIs were used. The geocoding API first converts city names to Latitude and Longitude coordinates and then these are given to open meteo to fetch the weather data.

I made Birdie, a fun slack bot that can:
tell a joke,
give a random catfact for you to think about,
give you a random image of an animal you choose(limited library)
To check if it is working you can type /birdie-ping.
If you cant seem to remember the slash commands, just type
/birdie-help and a help menu will be there.

[Devlog #2]
Today I updated my bot to give a random image of the animal-name given as argument. It looks like this:
/birdie-pixel [Animal Name]
Currently supported animals are:
dog
cat
panda
fox
koala
bird
birb(cute little birds)
raccoon
kangaroo
red_panda
whale
It can currently just do these:
/birdie-pixel: image of an animal along with a fact
/birdie-joke: tell a joke
/birdie-catfact: a random fact about cats
/birdie-ping: to see if it is well and good
/birdie-help: a simple help menu
