I finally finished my pcb design wiring for the macropad! (This took me too much time 😔). I had to restart my wiring cause it was getting too jumbled up, but I’m glad I finally was able to do it (being able to switch between f.cu and b.cu saved me 😭🙏). I will began designing the CAD on my next devlog.

my first devlog of making my own macropad! I first started by downloading Kicad, and starting working on the schematics and pcb design of the board. I decided to put a 3x3 matrix grid, a rotary encoder, the SK6812 mini-e leds, and the Seeeduino Xiao microcontroller. It lowkey took me a long time to try and design this, and I’m still not finished yet :( Looking back at it I made a lot of mistakes, so I will have to go back and fix it the next time I record on Lookout (labels are wrong on microcontroller). I also have to finish wiring :)
