Alright after some time of running this bot, I ran into the problem of everyone being able to use the ping cmd, I tried hard to make it so that only I can use the cmd but it did not work so I had to take down the bot so for now the HAT_BOT is down but I will update it when I have confirmed that the ping cmd can only be used by me and not anyone in any channel.

I made my first ever slack bot for my channel #the-hats, it currently has 3 commands and runs 24/7. To test my bot you can go to any slack channel and use any of the 3 commands: /hat-joke, /hat-flip and /hat-ping. All 3 command have their purpose and I will be using them for my channel

Finally I was able to make my bot 24/7 using Nest and now it works wonders! Maybe in the future I will edit it to add more commands but for now I am happy with it as it currently is!

I was able to finish the bot, I changed the ping to actually ping the channel, and I added a cmd for it to be able to tell a joke! Now all that is left is to upload it to github and ship the project!

I am currently trying to make the slack bot code work and I have just finished it so I just have to test if the bot works in my channel or not!
