SolarEcho an open-source Python digital signal processing (DSP) application that converts real-time NASA space weather data into ambient electronic audio landscapes. Using aiohttp and asyncio, the engine continuously ingests cosmic telemetry—such as solar wind velocity and particle density from NASA’s Open APIs [1]—and pipes those streams into an asynchronous math engine (numpy). The data arrays dynamically modulate audio synthesis frequencies (sounddevice) in real time, creating an immersive, data-driven audio experience that represents live activity from the sun
