Reworked the entire design so that the bins look way better and way easier to remove. The idea is the bins surround the central platform, similar to an industrial trashcan, so that it’s easy to package and remove by just easily lifting. I’m almost done with the CAD, just have to finish some stuff up and I will post. PLEASE ASK ME QUESTIONS OR LEAVE A COMMENT :cry

This looks sick! Where will the camera be that detects the type of trash? Also, why 4 compartments, instead of just one? This is such a good idea, I can’t wait to see the final project!

yo! Thanks for looking at my devlog!!! The camera is at the bottom, so that it doesn’t have to limit the size of items with the mount if from top :sob. I did four because there’s many cases in which people dispose more than one item at once right and the current industrial smart trashcans dont do that, and I thought it would be fun to do :sob. Yeah, im working on code and getting the parts(3d prints just got shipped to me today so we’ll see if I can finish assembly soon?). Please stay tuned!!!
