• Added support for images to the APOD preview box in home page.
• Added a “View” button in asteroids table to view more information about an asteroid.

A small update:-

• Added video support to apod page
• Today I opened the website and realised the website was not displaying the RST launch video as I had only added support for images, so now both videos and images can be displayed.

Here’s what I added this time:-
-Users are now able to bookmark asteroids
-Users can remove bookmarked asteroids both one at a time, or the user could clear the bookmarks in the main page, I used localStorage to save the bookmarks.

Added a bookmarks card which loads bookmarked items from session-storage, also added a card containing a preview of the NASA-APOD. Added responsiveness.

Here’s what I did today:-

• Configured a MongoDB database and added a route to update the database with the NASA Astronomy Picture Of The Day.
• Added a route to get latest APOD data from the database.
• Added server-side caching(next-cache) to the apod route to save compute on Edge functions and to save NASA OpenAPI limits.
• I’ll update the apod data using vercel cron jobs.
• Finished the APOD page on the website.

(And finally I realized that the devlogs are markdown-based, so now I’ll make better devlogs)

Added a color menu for selecting between Red, Green and Blue and a button to clear the screen.

I made my own AirButtons class for the buttons.

ADDED TRACKING AND FILTERING
So I added the finger tracking using mediapipe(through cvzone) and also added a Kalman filter to remove micro jitters in the finger tracking.
