Knowfiyan is a simple Slack bot with a little fun and useful commands.

Commands are as follows 

/fiyan-ping       - Test the bot's latency
/fiyan-catfact    - Get a random cat fact
/fiyan-echo       - Echo a message
/fiyan-fakeword   - Get a random fake word
/fiyan-joke       - Tell a random joke
/fiyan-rss [url]  - Set or remove RSS feed
/fiyan-rss        - Manually check for updates

Knowfiyan can keep an eye on more then 1 RSS feed now, I would say 10 is the sweet spot. And whenever any of the feed gets updated it will notify with a minute, Else you can manually use:

/fiyan-rss

  • 1.95x multiplier

Whats New:

Main Update:

Added an Auto notifications system.
/fiyan-rss [rss's url] to set or remove rss feed.
/fiyan-rss - to check for any update in rss feed manually.
It now Auto notifies you

Wrapping thing up

All i did in this session was reorganized the desktop and app windows, improved the terminal commands, and fix window dragging boundaries, And at last added a readme file

What was challenging?

What I found challenging was to get the Fakeword commend to work properly but en the end it worked out

Game ID is a gaming ownership and library analytics dashboard,
Instead of seeing giant lists of games in a launcher without proper info on how much the account is actually worth? Game ID solves it by taking your official Epic Games account export, then turning it into a dashboard where you see statistical information and understand what your library is actually worth.

It has a search option with different views, filter, etc.

Everything happens entirely in your browser locally using JSZip and PDF.js to extracts your library and account data and stores the results locally on your device. There is also an example export file in the GitHub repo

After a lot of work, the project is finally at a point where I can call it a fully working version and get it ready to publish as an MVP. Unfortunately, I lost most of my recorded working hours. I ended up using another IDE that didn’t have the time counter running, so that work didn’t get tracked.

The new update contains:

  1. Add your own Epic Games account
  2. See how much you’ve saved
  3. I have also added a dummy account’s zip export for testing.

Just changed the whole look of it. Well now the taskbar is below and I added this cool Liquid Glass theme for the windows. Also added some new commands to the terminal, along with new apps like Contacts, Projects, Weather, and even 2048.

And yup thats pretty much it for now

so Game ID is a project I’ve been quietly building for a while now. the idea is simple I own games across multiple stores and keep losing track of what I actually have and what’s worth playing. Looking to buy a game, only to find out I already owned it. so I’m building my own read-only intelligence dashboard for my game library. I have tested it against my own game library after importing my games. It cross-references the library with Steam and IGDB, producing enriched records with genres, ratings, release dates, confidence scores, and other metadata. i will be adding a proper import/export system later.

I called it Lookout Os.. well nothing too much to see really, build the whole look around the wallpaper I found. Nothing too crazy,
There are two apps for now, Crate is basically my music records
and ahh the terminal, in there we got some commands that can be displayed by help command
yup thats all for now
