I made Gube Roldberg, a 3D physics puzzle game where players place and rotate dominoes to build Rube-Goldberg-style chain reactions. The goal is to knock objects over, score points, build up a multiplier, and reach the goal before the countdown ends.
The most challenging part was definitely making the Unity physics system work properly, especially when restarting or moving on to the next level. I also had to debug many times, especially the placement system, camera movement, and score management. I’m most proud of making a complete playable game, with an in-game tutorial, multiple levels, and good sound effects.
To test the project, you begin with the home screen, which then moves into the tutorial and introduces the main controls and mechanics. You can right-click and drag to move the camera, left-click to place an object, press R to rotate the selected object, scroll to zoom, and hit escape to cancel current object selection. After arranging the dominoes, hit the Start Reaction button to test the chain.
