I have designed a rocket that will fly 800.52 Feet up in the air (244 m) while carrying 2 eggs, and it’ll be able to land on the ground without either egg cracking.

Starting off, I picked an Ogive nose cone as it provides the optimal aerodynamic settings for this application. I decided to print this out of PLA.

As for my body, I have 2 sections: an upper body that stores the eggs, and a lower body that stores the parachute, shock cord, and electronics. Both the upper and lower body are made out of cardboard.

I have a transition connecting the two sections, which is also going to be printed out of PLA.

As for the fins, I went with 3 trapezoidal fins, and they work together to keep the rocket upright and in proper motion.

The motor that the rocket is going to be running off of is an Aerotech F23FJ motor.

Attached is the full design of the rocket, simulations for speed, apogee, flight time, as well as other statistics, and a 3d model for it.

I’ve been making a whole bunch of fixes with all of the feedback I’m getting from the multiple rejections of ships… but I mean its good feedback and I’ve been using it to my advantage.

Fixes:

  • LocalHost error popping up when signing up, removed email authentication
  • Fixed search bar
  • Fixed UI changes on home page with the sign in card
  • Minor bugs and updates.

I have created PeerPath, a dynamic learning environment that supports multiple subjects and currently has full data-driven tracks for AP Calculus AB and BC with its own quiz engine, which automatically converts mathematical notation to beautiful inline LaTeX. The main challenge was to deal with streams of various formats between pre-loaded JSON files and the API endpoints, which led to raw KaTeX blocks for normal English prompts, resulting in string parsing errors and an unreadable italicized text. I have dealt with this issue by implementing my inline tokenizing renderer that is separating calculator functions such as “sqrt()” or “^” from regular dictionary words, thus rendering equations smoothly without any layout issues. I think it’s really cool how this state machine works in real time validating responses and updating user’s concept momentum (XP) through Supabase. If you want to see how it works, you can just dive into any Calculus AB or BC milestone tracker module, open “Intuition Check” widget and see how mathematical symbols are rendered in real time.

PeerPath is ready. As of now, only AP Calc AB and AP Calc BC. I plan on adding more and more curriculums in the future, but as of now, those are the ones that are ready.

I grinded out a LOT today. Got a whole bunch of updates in, fixed bugs, only a couple more things to do before PeerPath is ready to be shipped.

So i spent quite a bit of time yesterday adding proper videos and adding the corresponding questions to the calculus section. I’ve gotten everything down for it and all the videos work on AP Calc AB, now i just gotta get BC done. And then I think I’ll just fix a couple bugs here and there, work on some UI fixes, and then shabang (drake ref), I should be all done.

PeerPath is almost done! I’ve gotten a lot done over the past couple days!

At the moment the only available classes are ap calc ab and ap calc bc, i’m working on the curriculum for other classes as it takes me hours on end to get the curriculum for them. As of now, both files have about 2500 lines of code, so as you can tell it takes a while.

The good thing is that I’ve integrated AI generated questions into each unit! It’s still a work in progress and isn’t fully completed but as of now, its going very good!

Got classes integrated in my SQL Database, i populated them all. Then after that I created filters and got started on making curriculums for every class.

After 4 hours of work, the home page is done.

PeerPath is looking good!

Now i just gotta refine a couple things on the home page, I’m gonna call it a day for now though.
