Added the projects I’ve done on roblox and all the demo videos and images. I like the minimal look of the website and how it gets straight to the point. I guess you can say its boring but I think it looks good enough. The blue dynamic banner was made with react, it changes colors depending on whether you’re in light or dark mode, very cool.
New day new me. Anyways, I noticed that as soon as you break line of sight with the sound source it immediately muffled, which doesn’t make any sense irl. So I added a toggle to all sounds that adds diffraction cause sound bends around doorways and pillars. Now it sounds much more realistic. The flashlight was also really bad, the light beam was just a decal that faced the camera so it looked flat. I changed it to a cone mesh so it looks like a real light beam. I also realized that when you look at a person with a flashlight you see the blinding center of the flashlight not the beam, so I fiddled around with surface guis and found a solution! Add a surface gui to a part, then add a frame to it that has a white background or any color, then set the surface gui light influence to 0 and then a option for brightness should pop up. Set the brightness option to what you want, mines at 300.
Updated the sound system today, lokey geeked out on it too much. Made it so that sounds get muffled and quieter based on the rooms and the walls between you and the sound source. Prob gonna work on the AI system for the ghost. You can see the model in the video.
