I made a website where you can enter a concept you are confused or unsure about and an API key and it generates a simulation explaining that topic in greater depth. You can say what sources the AI should use and what specific aspect of the topic do you want the AI to elaborate on. It was harder then I expected to get the Gemini generateContent() API to start working as expected, especially when it began to hallucinate docker manuals (don’t ask). I am especially proud of learning how to create Elements and append that to divs using DOM Javascript. In the future I will use the Gemini 3.1 Pro model instead as that seems to be better at coding simulations and try to include my own API key in a way that does not reveal it so you don’t have to obtain an API key to actually use the project.

I finally finished creating my info cards based on the user and also included localStorage to save usernames without having an account or server. My next step is to get the repositories page working with analytics for your repository. I also made a comprehensive table containing everything the Github API returns including other APIs for it.

I tried testing out my Gemini 3.6 Flash API using fetch() by the generateContent() API. by giving it a sample prompt to code an HTML Simulation on Electron Orbital. I have been testing for a while and it keeps on hallucinating for some odd reason. Before this I asked it, ‘Hi! How are you?’ and replied with a comprehensive manual on how to setup Docker. It seems like Gemini seems to be glitching for the past week…Incase you wanted to know, here is the full prompt I gave gemini in the screenshot above: code an html simulation on electron orbitals where you can choose which orbital you would like to view and you can view that in 3d

A change of plans. I originally wanted. math.org to be purely math simulations that were pre-uploaded and coded by me, but then I realised the scale of 20 simulations which I had declared as the ‘minimum’. My new plan is to connect the Gemini 3.6 Flash API key to create simulations personalised to the user on the spot on any topic, creating more simulations with a lot less effort and an increase in efficiency.

btw, I am uploading this a bit late. I actually made this change in plan when I hit the 4 hour mark of working on the project, but I realised I completely forgot about my devlog. Hopefully I should start giving updates the moment they happen. Bye!
