El chromebook threw a fit this morning after the initial blog, and so Linux wouldn’t open. I finally got linux to open like at 10:30, but now Hackatime is showing a tracking error now. :(

Looking for advice. -If your seeing this I’m wondering if you have any ideas about how to do the “Curse-Rotted Greatwood” fight in a way that’s true to the game. - I’m kinda at a standstill for how to accurately do this in a text based adventure.

Today I decided to trust co-pilot

It deleted all my code cause it had an error.

“But your code is still there in the screen shot.”
yes my mighty follower it is for since the incident where I lost all the progress I made.
I have many backups now both local and online just in case that ever happened again.

While this week has started interesting I hope it to be a special week.

I’m starting to understand how to split up my code into smaller files. Still I’ve spent about half of the project up until this point on learning this art.

Today really was a Marvelous Sunday.

I fixed all the bugs I could find in my script,but today’s main mission was to find out how to separate the main big file into many smaller ones.

Even with all the 10 year old Reddit forums I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to do that

The feeling of todays success would’ve been Staying Gold in my mind while going on a Journey of Dreams having a ,Fenomenol Fiesta while looking at some Oriental Art on the way to Flags Point, and it ain’t all just Orfevre.

Yet even after so much hours of effort I just couldn’t find the Winning Ticket for my code.

So some major updates
1.I finished the tutorial level
2.I finished the second area of the game
3.I added a level up system
4.I properly made some bosses
5.Bocchi the Rock s2 updates are coming out soon

What I’m going to work on now is factoring my script,since everything is in one place
Python has such a Nice Nature

I encountered some difficulties with how I structured it.

I’m still currently working to rebuild the tutorial.

I redid how combat worked
The original structure I had only had two options for you ,and for the enemy.

with the new structure I implemented there are now multiple options you have during combat and enemy AI also changes its behavior on how much health it has.

Though I could stop here for the project I want to do a fully fleshed out game to challenge myself.

(While not shown in the screenshot I also added a feature for status effects[when I get around to making that])

I finally got things to work and run correctly.

I had a “While True” command running so it would constantly repeat the inventory and location alert on repeat.(It was only “looping the rooms” one would say.)

Now I need to finish the rest of the project

Currently finished up to where you get to the fire link shrine.

Problem is that I messed up something in the beginning so your trapped in limbo as soon as the task is run.
