2nd app!!!! :)))))))))))))))) im so happy rn. music is very essential imo. the music app is working, however im gonna change the graphics, it is js too plain atm. and there is a problem w/ the playing order, i’ll make some adjustments about that. and ofc the icons’ places are gonna change as well. but we are getting closer to the first ship and i cannot wait to start the 2nd webOS mission. im js so so so excited!! 🕸️
day 5-6? im not gonna write days anymore its hard to keep track of them. anyway so i played with the notes app a bit, now you can add and delete pages and notebooks. and i also designed a page-ish image in canva 
created my first app. it’s a simple notes app, im planning to change the window design to make it look more like a notebook. and also huge thx to @253_Mathilde_IYKYK for sharing this website where i took the little spider gif. “highlighting” the icon to show it was clicked didn’t seem right for this design. so i decided it would be cute if a spider showed up instead. yeyyy
i ve tried making the left bar scrollable and added more pics YEYY. thats all for day 3. new pics:
DAY 3!! fixed the color of the top bar, added some pictures to the left and found a better initial position for the opening window. and i, for some reason, feel the need to state that (sadly D,:) im not peter parker and this os is js build with my huge respect to the character and the actor. js making things clear. yeah thats all i guess. huge thx to whoever is reading these :))
now the welcome screen is draggable !!!!!!!!!!! im so happy :D the code seemed so overwhelming so i spent some while trying to understand that. but it all figured outt, so YEYYY ! i also changed the top bar’s colors so that it would match the picture on the left and the welcome window, but now it hurts my eyes. i will take care of that later ig, but really it looks weird :(
DAY 2 ? - part 3 of the jam i guess !!!“welcome” window is on the wayyy!!!!! it took me a while to create this design (why?? - this is basically a classic “error” window you can easily find, right? well, i couldn’t find the right size so I grabbed an image from pinterest which was about half the size of this picture here. and, yeah, with some adjustions here we are. i feel like im spending too much time on the visuals before mastering the functions. however, i also know it would be harder to come back later and arrange these stuff sooo :D btw do you know if there s a way i can log those hours i spent on the design to hackatime?
im bout to get started w the JavaScript part. ive spent 90-120 mins so far - i had to get the right design. but eventually i got the look i wanted for the interface (more or less). im planning to add more pictures of Andrew Garfield’s spiderman to the left alongside some more links. the “ANDREW” written one leads to the wiki page of Andrew G. maybe i can add some edits or smt, i ll figure that out later. yeah, thats all for day-1, i guess :D
better obv!! at least its now aligned to the center, tho it still looks off :( but i love the background!!!

oh so I made a bot that gives some random marine-related facts. it was both my first hackclub project and my first interaction with github. i tried my best, it was fun especially the idea of connecting it to ocean life. the facts are handwritten so they are not too many, but still :D
