yeyy. ok so now things are working properly, i hope. js one thing: cd covers stay zoomed in until you click on another one of them. i gotta fix it, it bothers me so much. other than that YEYYY, i will next work on the pages for this three characters (abby sciuto, luna lovegood, and peter parker but andrew’s version) cuz its blank for now D: 🌈

okayyyyyy. as i said, it was time for the characters i loveee and wanna be like - kinda. the first two pictures are my inspo i made on canva. and now i just want the actual page to be exactly like that. so at first, i tried adding it as a whole image for background. but ofc it was nothing proper (you can pretty much understand that from the last ss i added to this devlog) so im gonna do it the hard but better way i guess. just not today :P (note: the idea was that, when you click on any of the three cd cover-ish thingys, it would become like the second image, with only a single character left and a lighter/pastel palette. and i am planning to give info about what i like in those characters: styles, personal traits, vibe,mindset etc etc)

NEW PAGE ON ITS WAY!!!!!

changed the whimsical part a bit. one day i was at a food court with my friend and we were ordering smt. there was a cashier who seemed just a bit older than us. her eyeshadow was GLITTERY PURPLE. i loved it so much. tho, she seemed a little tense(?) so i hesitated to compliment at first. but i did anyway.eventually (after i insisted on keeping a smile on my face while looking at her) she smiled in the most genuinest way to ever be genuine. and it really felt like she needed to hear that, cuz later, her sharp face appeared rather as a sad one to me. anyway spread the magic, if you tell people they are cringe or any other bad thing, sadly, they usually believe it s true. HOWEVER, if you tell them something positive and sincere, chances are, they will take that seriously as well. this is so important for me, thats why i wrote this much thing rather than writing about the functionality or the code or smt like that. if there are people reading this, thanks a lot and please, you can affect people and if you just choose to affect them in a good way it could change a lot. a few words that easily come out of your mouth could mean much more than you think to someone else :D (ok now talking about the design process: it took more time than i thought to design the window(?)/frame im gonna put behind the writing. i am planning to add more pictures, especially something glittery. “whimsy” is not really an aesthetic matter for me, i connect it deeply to not losing hope in people, and that takes a lot of space in my mind, and since the aim of this website is to show who i am outside academic or stem related interests and projects, the contents naturally differ from other projects. not only for the project itself, but also for the devlogs. so thx A LOT for your patience)

played with the music thingy design (gonna change it again, soon, i guess) and organized my code ? a bit. thats all for today :D

school began so i lost my streak and everything, but still i wanna see the second OS mission so here we are. im working on the readme cuz well … yeah once im done its time to ship !!! i hope

2nd app!!!! :)))))))))))))))) im so happy rn. music is very essential imo. the music app is working, however im gonna change the graphics, it is js too plain atm. and there is a problem w/ the playing order, i’ll make some adjustments about that. but we are getting closer to the first ship and i cannot wait to start the 2nd webOS mission. im js so so so excited!! 🕸️

day 5-6? im not gonna write days anymore its hard to keep track of them. anyway so i played with the notes app a bit, now you can add and delete pages and notebooks. and i also designed a page-ish image in canva

created my first app. it’s a simple notes app, im planning to change the window design to make it look more like a notebook. and also huge thx to @253_Mathilde_IYKYK for sharing this website where i took the little spider gif. “highlighting” the icon to show it was clicked didn’t seem right for this design. so i decided it would be cute if a spider showed up instead. yeyyy

i ve tried making the left bar scrollable and added more pics YEYY. thats all for day 3. new pics:

DAY 3!! fixed the color of the top bar, added some pictures to the left and found a better initial position for the opening window. and i, for some reason, feel the need to state that (sadly D,:) im not peter parker and this os is js build with my huge respect to the character and the actor. js making things clear. yeah thats all i guess. huge thx to whoever is reading these :))
