This is the first PCB I ever made. The katjapad is a 9-key macropod with a rotary encoder for volume control, an OLED display, and RGB lighting per key. I made it to use for productivity and for watching movies. The first row launches a study playlist, a pomodoro timer, and then my to-do list. The second row handles basic computer commands of copy, paste, and opening a new tab. The last row handles media controls. The hardest part was routing the PCB because I spent way too long trying other route everything on a single layer before I figured out that you could use bias to switch between the front and back copper layers. Once I figured that out it got easier but I still ended up with 27 bias which felt like a lot. Despite all the struggles and mistakes I made I really enjoyed this project and I think this will be the first of many PCBs that I will make.
