Refined the APOD archive — added error handling for failed API requests, improved keyboard navigation between dates, and optimized image loading performance.
Built a fullstack blog platform from scratch using Next.js, MongoDB, and JWT authentication. Users can register, log in, create posts with titles and content, and browse all published posts. The backend uses Mongoose for data modeling with secure password hashing via bcrypt. Styled everything with a clean dark theme and responsive layout. Deployed on Vercel with MongoDB Atlas for the database.
Built FlowTab — a clean, minimal new tab replacement that actually helps you focus.
It shows a live clock front and center, has quick-access bookmark tiles you can customize, and pulls in a weather widget so you know what’s going on outside without opening another tab.
The design is intentionally stripped down — no news feeds, no trending articles, no distractions. Just the stuff you actually need when you open a new tab. Dark theme by default because bright white new tabs at 2am are a crime.
Everything is vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS. The weather uses a free API, and bookmarks save to localStorage so they persist across sessions.
Built DJsOS from scratch — a web-based operating system that runs entirely in the browser.
It has draggable, resizable windows with a custom window manager, a working terminal with commands like help, clear, echo, date, and whoami, a notes app that saves to localStorage, and a music player that uses the Web Audio API to synthesize tones and play melodies.
The whole desktop is themed with a custom SVG wallpaper, a taskbar with a clock, and a start menu. Everything is vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks, no libraries.
The trickiest part was getting the window z-index stacking to feel right and making the terminal parse input properly. The music player was fun — generating sine waves and scheduling notes with AudioContext.
finally got my personal site up and running! built it from scratch with plain html, css and a canvas starfield animation in the background. has an about section, project showcase and contact section. the starfield was fun to figure out - each star has its own speed and twinkle. deployed it on github pages and it works on mobile too which is cool. gonna keep adding projects to it as i build more stuff
Built an APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) archive viewer! It fetches NASA’s daily space images going all the way back to 1995. You can browse by date, navigate with arrow keys, or hit the random button to discover something cool. Built with Vite + vanilla JS, deployed on GitHub Pages.
