a game to learn and practice different writing systems! original not made by me - i rewrote a lot of logic and added in two new scripts which required an overhaul of a lot of aspects of the app
I contributed to glyph-glyph, an app made by @jn3008 on the internet to learn and practice different writing systems :D
I added support for Indic scripts - the app currently has Devanagari and Gurmukhi in addition to all the other ones, along with full romanized/IPA transcriptions and pronunciation hints - and ran into a lot of interesting problems along the way, which led to a lot of iteration on the internal logic of the app itself (e.g. how it handled romanization, serialized data, formatted IPA readings, etc) until I got it to a point I’m happy with!

Finished adding the two new scripts :D I’ve been working on this for the last few days and what started as just adding some new options to the app became a full project with how much stuff I added. It features four different modes for both Devanagari and Gurmukhi - letters only, syllables, conjuncts, or all three. It also features full IPA transcriptions and pronunciation hints for letters :)
