I am building a system designed to make communication between schools and students’ guardians faster and easier. In my school community, guardians’ phone numbers were stored and accessed through a large physical book, making the process slow, manual, and inefficient, especially when a staff member needed to quickly find a student’s contact information. My system transforms this process into something simple and fast: all student information is organized digitally, and to find a contact, staff members only need to type the student’s name. Within seconds, the guardian’s phone number appears and can be used to make a call. The idea came from a real problem in my school, but I designed the system so it can be useful in any educational institution. By reducing the time spent on repetitive administrative tasks, the project makes everyday work easier for teachers and staff and allows them to access the information they need much more efficiently.
