I just found out there’s a whole guidelines page on making a hackpad T-T I’m so confused and very nervous to go on slack and ask questions. I have to redo parts of my work that were incorrect. I can’t believe how much work I have to do. It’s rigorous, but I won’t give up! T-T

I finished everything I need to do digitally! I’ve completed the case design but I’m a little skeptical about. Next thing – learn how to get funding for firmware. I’m really worried about this project even though its been easy sailing so far so, wish me luck :)

No cool screenshots, most of this hour was just getting prepared for the next part – creating a case. I got the software, so the next bit will definitely be me making the case. Progress soon in the next hour :/

I just finished the PCB for my hackpad! I had to restart from my old project almost immediately after posting hour #1 of building my hackpad because I remembered I forgot to add my footprint library. I went a little overboard and forgot about the recording, so hour 3 will be posted sooner than anticipated! : p

After an hour of technical difficulties with Kicad, I searched a few things up and finally figured out the files I was trying to delete are actually essential! I’m trying to make my very first hardware project – a hackpad! On another hand, nothing fatal happened, and we’re all set to begin the project for real :D

I made a slack bot named Lotus! This is my very first programming project. Please be advised that for some of the commands not used in the guide for this mission, I used AI to generate. The bot has commands like fun facts, jokes, quizzes, and certain anime gimmicks! I spent about 14 hours on this project (not listed in hackatime because I just learned how to use it).

I’m new to stardance, so I recently found out how to track my work through hacktime! It is upsetting to find out that I couldn’t log 10 hours of my work, but that only means I need to work harder! Despite the earlier screenshot, right now I’m working on running my slack bot 24/7 and completing the mission. Wish me luck!
