Most of the time was me wondering if I should go with the stock gantry design or use an awd design. I have ended up opting to use the monolith gantry for it’s compatibility with awd. I chose the monolith gantry since I don’t think I could iterate on the awd gantry design anymore than what I would be willing to compromise on. However, I have created mounts for use with the Ender 3 motors so that they are compatible with the long shafted version.

Z-Axis almost complete

I have completed the Z-Carriages that connect the bed to the motors, now I just need to mount the bed and then do the gantry…

Start work on Z-Axis

I got the frame fixed up since I was missing a bit. I had also mounted the gantry positions but I don’t want to figure out how to do an AWD corexy gantry yet, so I started work on the Z-Axis of the printer. I got the base corners onto the frame assembly, and I will be working on the other mounts next. Then I will work on mounting the bed to the stepper motors.
