Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on a PCB design for a wireless earbuds charging and power management system.
The goal of this project is to create a compact board that can:
Charge a single-cell Li-ion battery through USB-C
Provide battery protection
Display charging and full-charge status
Deliver regulated power to the earbuds charging case
In this update I focused on:
Defining the system architecture
Selecting the charging and protection circuitry
Building the schematic
Generating and refining the PCB layout
Reviewing component placement and routing
AI-assisted tools were used throughout the design process to help generate and iterate on ideas more quickly, while project requirements, design goals, validation, and final decisions were guided by me.
Current status:
Schematic completed
Initial PCB layout completed
Ready for further review and optimization
Next steps:
Improve routing quality
Perform additional design checks
Optimize board size
Prepare manufacturing outputs
