The Sparta XR-1 is a self designed and self built electric off road vehicle project. The goal of this project is to combine mechanical engineering, electronics, and design into one fully functional machine.
The vehicle is designed with a strong chassis, electric drivetrain, and custom built systems. The target performance is a top speed of approximately 45 km/h, while focusing on durability, control, and safety for off road use.
During the development of the Sparta XR-1, different engineering challenges are explored, including designing a strong but lightweight frame, transferring power from an electric motor to the wheels, managing battery energy, and creating electronic systems for controlling and monitoring the vehicle.
