Today I added mounting holes to my pcb, and got the 3d library/rendering in order. I am planning to export this, to help me model around this in fusion. Also: I did not remember to check the required max dimensions, so it got too big. I hope this does not affect anything. (I asked on slack, and they said that its more of a cost thing, so I should try submitting it anyways)

Shittings, wiring is hard… I found out the hard way, that wiring everything fix, is not good before you know the layout. I had to rewire everything according to the new layout… Im almost done with the pcb arrangement, gonna finish it tomorrow.

Today, I finalised the wiring, and started on the pcb. I added a 74AHCT125 level shifter before the leds. When designing the pcb, i ran into some problems with the allignment of certain switches, leds, and transistors. Still trying to figure out a way to allign everything correctly.

Today, first i realised that i had put more switches than there were in the kit, so i redesigned the whole matrix, and wired all the components (hopefully right), than had some issues with importing the footprints (god it is awful…) But i got it figured out somehow! Next step is to verify tahat the wiring isn’t complete bs, and then getting started on the actual pcb layout.

Today i made the wiring diagram for the “final product”, and had a whole lot of problems with the switch matrix. If only could one change the colors per wire on kicad… Anyway i know it still has problems, ill fix them tomorrow.

Today I made a plan for the layout of my hackpad, and also made the basic pcb from the guide, just to get used to kicad. I had some problems with the library installation, but i figured it out… I am planning to expand on the pcb tomorrow. The layout is only for the keys, i will add the oled screen, and i am hoping to make a nice rgb matrix with the leds in the kit aswell.

built the main frame of the project, including get, post functions with a database, future plans: put, patch, delete functionality. Will probably add a test database soon

I am working on a new project, OfflineSurvey! This is strictly an offline survey to keep confidential information off the web. Today I buildt the basic question protocol, and a really simple html frontend. Planned functons: file upload and surveyer side app to make the reviewing easyer.

Hello all! This is my first project on Starsance! So excited! I followed and expanded on the slackbot project guide, and made a few mistakes along the way. (Like not properly tracking my time, this took around 3-4hrs) Anyway… you can test it on the official Hack Club workspace on slack, under #bot-spam! For all the commands: Use: /sackbot-help and have fun!
