Part 1 of a potential 3 projects all based on macro pads. Have had a few moments when gaming where I wished I had some extra keys for shortcuts or using as a soundboard so I just decided to build one but as I was imagining it, I realized I had more than 1 variation I could build and since macro pads aren’t that difficult to build, I decided to make them all, if I have time. This project will consist of two ideas since there very similar so I just decided I would merge the two. This is your sort of standard macro pad, 9 keys in a 3x3 layout, a knob (rotary encoder), an on/off switch and idea one with an oled 128X64 inbuilt as well.
