Worked on dividing on the pynput syntax to test the bug. I had a lot of trouble with the yanking with vim. If you don’t know yanking is copying in vim. Vim told me that the yanking was successful, but it didn’t paste the correct lines. I managed to find the bug. It says keyboard is not defined, which indicates some missing definition for the class. I will fix this bug soon, now that I have found the error. :)

After much trouble shooting, I determined that the bug is not from pyautogui ( the library that moves your mouse). Its from the pynput input recognition. Thats about all of the work I did today. I do want to talk about my coding editor. I use a editor called vim. It’s a terminal based editor that is very fast and has many shortcuts to optimize your coding experience. I am not a experianced dev, but I’m practicing it. Hope you give it a try too. :) Link to Vim https://www.vim.org

I realized the SupraTooler1.0.py file didn’t actually work. It seems that the terminal lost the accesability permisions or the syntax was changed. I started debuging this and temporarily disabled the startup sequence function when I develop. I’m not going to update the github repo until I fixed this bug. I also created new line of code so that if i delete a line it removes disables the startup sequence. This can be useful in the future when bugs occur. the image below is the function and the code to disable it.

Supra Tooler 1.0 has been released. This is the first version of the python script. It has keyboard shortcuts that move the mousecursor to useful locations like top info bar on Mac to check the time. Also has other life changing features. Must be run in terminal, since I haven’t packaged it with pyinstaller yet. It may or may not run, if this problem occurs, run with sudo access or check system settings. There go to input monitering and accessibility settings and approve both for the terminal. I didn’t package this version as an application because the starting screen was still in development and would not run in terminal if it was an app. The file to look at is SupraTooler1.0.py. The other supra.py file is the development stage of SupraTooler2.0. I’m planning on adding a popup when you start the application in customtkinter, but i found out that macos isn’t fully supporting it anymore and can remove it in any update so i want to use pygame. This is a lot more difficult and has unnecessary features but should still work. Also I am adding other shortcuts. So yeah, that wraps it up.
