I finished the PCB layout for RAIZENPAD.I arranged the 6 keys, added the rotary encoder and XIAO RP2040, then added the mounting holes and board outline. After that, I routed all the connections and finally got 0 unrouted connections. Ran DRC too and got no errors, so the basic PCB is done. Now I’m moving on to the case design in Fusion and making the whole thing look more like the concept I have in mind.Slowly getting there.
Started working on RAIZENPAD, my first custom macropad project.Today was mostly about getting the schematic ready in KiCad. I added the XIAO RP2040, 6 push buttons, and a rotary encoder that I’m planning to use for volume and other controls.I connected the keys and encoder to the RP2040’s GPIO pins and added the required GND connections. The basic schematic is finally done. ✅It took a bit of figuring out, especially getting everything connected properly, but I’m happy with how it’s coming together.

Finished the last few things, pushed everything to GitHub and deployed the website.

Worked on the CSS today.
Fixed a few things with the layout and image, added the project cards and got most of the website looking right.
Now just the final polish and theme left before I ship it ðŸ˜ðŸ–¤
