Made an interactive Pokemon Pokedex with Python and PokeAPI. It has a GUI similar to the Pokédex where you can search for Pokemon and see their stats, types, abilities, moves, evolution chains, weaknesses, resistances, and more.I also added random Pokémon and shiny sprites.
The most difficult part was getting the API data to work properly with the GUI and ensuring that the different features could work together without breaking each other. I spent a lot of time testing, fixing bugs and improving the interface.
I’m proud that I was able to turn a basic idea into a complete working application and I learned a lot about Python, APIs, GUI development and debugging while building it.
