Update on first ship of the WebOS:
Thanks to one of the people at Stardance ( seriously thank you) who told me to redesign the style of the OS I rewrote most of the CSS code and added some QoL features.
I think it looks way better already, but I’m not quiet satisfied with the windows yet.
Today I made huge progress: I set an background image which i think looks way cooler than the gradient before. I also finally made better Dock icons, but by far the biggest change is probably the web-browser I made with an iframe. A small mention should also probably get the Internet connection status which I implemented in the top bar, I saw that while scrolling on Instagram and I think it’s a nice touch. I also want to add that I reworked the top bar system in general to be more flexible.
Today I fixed minor bugs and made a notes app, timer and an not so working calculator. I will also have to make some better dock icons.
I made this project mainly for myself to learn how responsive design is done right and which options I have in therms of functions. Of course it isn’t just for fun, I made a page with the basics I found to be essential and good to know when setting up Arch Linux/CachyOS. I hope you enjoy making your way through the pages and learn something along the way.
Devlog #3 - Final - Today I finished all pages with content, layout and responsive design. Because of my school I already knew more than a lot of html and css, what made this projekt really easy I must say, but I learned how to use github in phpstorm what I think is pretty usefull to know. The site is now online at hexcat.at

Devlog #1 Today I optimized the layout of my web site and added the files for future pages. The full commit of today: Optimized header layout, added “made by” link, added hover effects for the nav-bar, created files for the next pages and nearly completed the “AboutMe” page.
Devlog #0 - Today I made the landing page for my website “hexcat.at” which I already own, thanks to my school which is specialized in media technology I was able to build this in no time. More pages coming soon.
I was able to have the first window work and also made a cool mac style bar. I was also able to make these cool svg Icons using a guide from w3school and a little help from gemini to actually make the look good.
